“Enjoys your comics on your Mac”
Simple Comic looks to simplify reading comics on your Mac. We like the simple interface of the application and how easy it is to navigate between pages. Once you've opened up the comic you want to read you can have it centered and show two pages at once. There's a scrollbar at the bottom of the interface to browse through pages. It shows thumbnails of pages to avoid you having to go back and forth in your comic.
Simple Comic lets you create sessions for the different comics that you read and remembers how far you've gotten in each of them. Luckily, the program supports most comic book formats you find on the Internet so you'll be able to enjoy the most popular comics.
Although the program lacks a little tutorial to get you started, once you've opened up your comic you'll see Simple Comic is pretty straightforward to use.

Simple Comic was written for one specific task, viewing comics, nothing more nothing less.
Two page layout
Pages are by default laid out as they would be in print. Double wide images are properly handled and displayed even in two page mode. Single page viewing is of course available if so desired.
Alternate page ordering
Pages can be laid out either left to right or right to left.
Multiple page scaling options
Original size, fit to window, horizontal fit to window and scale to defined height.
Fullscreen
Comics can be displayed full screen.
Archive handling
Never decompress another comic archive. Simple Comic can seamlessly deal with .cbr, .cbz, .zip and .rar files even if they are nested.
Multiple sessions
View multiple comics at one time. Sessions are treated separately allowing each to maintain their own settings.
Pick up where you left off
Feel free to exit Simple Comic as your sessions will be restored the next time it is opened.
Simplicity
Does not attempt to be all things to all people. Features are not added unless they actually improve the user's experience.
